Can't Save Word Document When I try to save I get the message, "'Word cannot save or create this file. The disk may be full or write-protected.Try one of the following: *free more memory *make sure that the disk you want to save the file on is not full, write-protected or damaged.'" I also get the message, "Word is unable to save the AutoRecover file in the location you have specified. Make sure that you have specified a valid location for Autorecover files in Preferences, and that you have permission to write files to the location that you specified." I haven't changed anything in preferences etc. and it was working before. iMac running Mojave

Word Doesn't Save iMac Word does not save documents in either Save or Save As mode. I get the wheel, and after several minutes, I have to do a "force quit." I just installed MS360 and still have the same problem in Word. I don't have any issues saving Excel and Power Point documents. I have MAC OS Monterey V12.6.7

MS Word will not save word .docx document after editing - Mac OS Catalina, Word 16.43 Hi. I have been using MS Word for Mac for years, don't usually have any problems. Currently version 16.43 (Build 20110804) running on Catalina 10.15.7. A .docx document I have downloaded and edited refuses to save to any local disk or one-drive. As far as I can see it is not write protected and Word has write access to the disks. Autosave will not save to any location I set for it either. The 'save as' creates an empty 0 bytes document with any name/directory I set but says it cannot save the document there. The "do you want to save your changes" when trying to close Word has the same problem. Anyone else had this (I believe a great many people have)? Any help much appreciated.
